インドネシアで高吸水性樹脂（SAP）製造設備プラント増設プロジェクトを受注＜English follows＞

東洋エンジニアリング（取締役社長　細井 栄治、以下TOYO）のインドネシア子会社であるPT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik（イカペテ、社長 吉原 淳、以下IKPT）は、株式会社日本触媒（代表取締役社長　野田 和宏、以下 日本触媒）のインドネシア子会社であるPT. NIPPON SHOKUBAI INDONESIA (President Director　吉本 進一郎、以下NSI) から、ジャワ島西部チレゴンに新設する高吸水性樹脂（SAP）製造設備プラント増設プロジェクトを受注しました。

IKPTが設計、調達業務、建設工事を一括で受注し、2027年のプラントの完工を予定しています。

TOYOは日本触媒向けに、2003年に中国で高吸水性樹脂（SAP）製造設備プラント建設プロジェクトを実施したのを皮切りに、アジアやヨーロッパ、米国で実績を重ねてきました。インドネシア国内では、2011年にNSI向けにアクリル酸およびSAP製造設備プラント建設プロジェクト、2018年にアクリル酸製造設備プラント建設プロジェクトを受注し、完工しています。これらの実績を通して培ってきた両社の良好な関係と、インドネシアにおけるTOYOとIKPTの多くの案件の遂行能力が高く評価されたことにより、本件の受注に至りました。

--<English Follows>--PT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik, a subsidiary of TOYO, Awarded EPC Contract for Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) Production Plant in Indonesia
Toyo Engineering Corporation’s (President and CEO Eiji Hosoi, TOYO), PT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik (President Director Atsushi Yoshihara, IKPT), a subsidiary of TOYO in Indonesia has been awarded an EPC contract by PT. NIPPON SHOKUBAI INDONESIA (President Director Shinichiro Yoshimoto, NSI), a subsidiary of NIPPON SHOKUBAI CO., LTD. (President Kazuhiro Noda, Nippon Shokubai), to expand the Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP) production plant located in Cilegon, West Java.

IKPT will undertake the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) work for the project, which is slated for completion in 2027.

TOYO has a longstanding and successful partnership with Nippon Shokubai, beginning with the construction of an SAP production plant in China in 2003, followed by numerous projects across Asia, Europe, and the United States. In Indonesia, TOYO successfully completed an acrylic acid and SAP production plant for NSI in 2011 followed by an acrylic acid production plant in 2018. The strong relationship between Nippon Shokubai and TOYO, along with IKPT’s exceptional project execution capabilities in Indonesia were key factors in securing award of this project.

Leveraging its extensive expertise in the EPC business, TOYO is dedicated to supporting to the growth of Nippon Shokubai businesses operations and contributing to the dynamic expansion of the Southeast Asian market.

Client: PT. NIPPON SHOKUBAI INDONESIA (a subsidiary of Nippon Shokubai Group in Indonesia)
Contractor: PT Inti Karya Persada Tehnik (IKPT)
Construction Site: Cilegon (same location as the existing NSI facility)
Facility: SAP production capacity of 50,000 tons/year (totaling 140,000 tons/year when combined with the existing capacity of 90,000 tons/year)
Scope of Work: Engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC)
Completion Year: 2027
